Course Description:
Our Nursing Studies course is designed as a programme of preparatory study for learners to study a degree course in Nursing. This course aims to provide a progression route to a nursing degree programme. Learners who achieve the major award may apply through the CAO for degrees in General Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Intellectual Disability Nursing, and Children’s Nursing as well as higher Level qualifications in other areas. The programme also aims to provide learners with all the skills necessary to work as healthcare assistants in hospitals, nursing homes, day-care centres, and in-home care

Leaving Certificate , QQI Level 4 or equivalent standard of education. All applicants subject to interview and online assessment

€50 Certification Fee. Medical Card holders or those in receipt of a social welfare payment are exempt from this fee
