Course Description:

This is a one-year full-time programme that provides learners with a broad introduction to marketing, economics and accounting combined with intensive training in IT and computerised accounts.
Learners will also gain a strong introduction to the three main business subjects – Economics, Marketing and Accounting. Graduates of the course may go directly into employment or progress to third level education

Leaving Certificate , QQI Level 4 or equivalent standard of education. All applicants subject to interview and online assessment 

This course will take place in the main Portlaoise Institute Building on the Mountrath Road  R32H392

€50 Certification Fee. Medical Card holders or those in receipt of a social welfare payment are exempt from this fee

This course is recognised as a QQI progression route into a range of courses in higher education including, but not limited, to the following.
