Part-Time Special Needs Assisting Courses Commencing September 26<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All courses are offered on a part-time basis and run for 13 weeks. They are delivered using a blended learning approach, combining online and in-person elements to provide flexibility and support. This award equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and competence to work effectively under supervision as Special Needs Assistants. It focuses on understanding the role, responsibilities, and key qualities required, as well as relevant disability legislation and the rights of children to autonomy and participation. Learners will develop the ability to support children with additional needs through appropriate care routines, effective communication, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
