Applicants will be invited to attend an interview and suitability assessment before a place is offered. Upon successful completion, students will receive a component certificate. It covers employer and employee responsibilities under current legislation, the role of the Health and Safety Authority, and the importance of communication, training, and safety statements. Learners will explore accident and fire prevention, risk assessment, use of PPE, and the safe handling of equipment and hazardous materials.
